A Kiss so Deadly

A Kiss so Deadly

Book Description (from Amazon):

Before building the Marquette Plantation, Pierre and Genevieve Marquette lived in a small home with the other Acadians in Nova Scotia. They were forced from their home as was others that traveled with them. It took Pierre years to build Genvieve the perfect home when they finally made it to Louisiana. Life had been hard but they had each other and their children. Unfortunately, Genevieve only got to live in it for a short while before her unfortunate passing. Yellow fever hit the area with a vengeance taking many lives, including hers.
Love...Betrayal...Murder...Ghosts......A Haunted Plantation....

After the tragic death of her parents, Bridgette turned the family plantation into a Bed and Breakfast. Now, if only she could keep the ghosts from scaring away her quests. In all her years of living here, they all seemed to commingle in peace. Were they possibly upset that she opened the family home to strangers?
Ever since her passing, Genevieve has wandered the plantation and watched her family grow. Lately, she has become afraid to wander the grounds. The beauty of the night was stolen from her. All that seemed to remain in the darkness of the night was death and evil. She must warn Bridgette of the evil that lurks these grounds before it was too late.

I loved learning the back story of the family and how the plantation came to be. The hard work and the ghosts whom roam the grounds. Bridgette is use to her ancestors visiting her, but they seem restless now. This story kept me captivated. Ever time I thought I knew who the evil was at the plantation then I would  change my mind and then change it again!! I really enjoyed reading this book. I can't wait to read more from Theriot. If you want to read a good paranormal mystery this book is for you!
