This was a beautifully written story. It takes the witch trials into modern times. It compares the reasons and outcomes of the two situations. While the modern day story is being told it also takes us back to the witch trials and compares each situation and the choices of the characters. It was a wonderful comparison of the two times. It made me think which I always love for a book to do. I would definitely read more from Howe.
