About me: Jennifer Raygoza lives in Corona, California with her husband and children. She developed a love for writing poetry at the young age of twelve. She did not want to become a writer when she was young instead, she had dreams of becoming a Marriage Counselor and majored in Psychology when she was older. Although that dream did not work out, she still council’s relationship advice to friends and family. In 2013 she published her first book called The Guardians. Originally it was a story written for fun, and out of curiosity was self-published. Little did she know that it would be a hit with vampire lovers. Fans encouraged her to write part two in the series. She was currently working on another project, but pushed it back to write part two to please the fans. The Guardians III: Blood Vengeance is the last and final installment in the Guardians Series.
Excerpts

  1. “You’re not weak, you know. I think you are one of the strongest females I have ever met,” Gavin replied. I stopped in my tracks. I swung my body around like lightening had struck.
“Ha ha. You think I’m talking about myself when I tell you that. That’s really inspiring. It makes me want to vomit rainbows and sugar. Let me tell you something. I don’t need your motivational speech. Keep your pep talk in your pocket, boy. I can handle my own.”
“I just…just thought you should know,” Gavin replied.
“Stop thinking.” I spit out, and bit into the air.
  1. I lied. I was so weak, but I couldn’t bear to have him that close to me again. I was beyond starving, if that was even possible, and all I wanted was just a little bite. I licked my lips, imagining the taste. Ten different ways to silently kill Cage had already flashed through my mind. Damn vampire instincts. I sat there on the floor with my head hanging down, hands limp in my lap. Then I heard these whispers, or rather, thoughts again. They kept creeping into my mind. I found myself starting to listen to them.
“Humans are food supply, you even said it yourself. Kill him,” they screamed at me.
