A great paranormal story!! The Roanoke colony has been found. Ellie Lancaster has lived her whole life on Roanoke island. She's a waitress in the local diner and one day a stranger comes in that not only changes her life but could change all of the world. She finds out that she is a keeper and the stranger, Collin Dailey, is the other keeper. She always ignored the stories her father told her, but now with death surrounding her she can't deny her fate any longer. Together they have to find a way to work together and to banish the gods that have escaped there prison. I could not put this book down. I had to get the second book immediately!! It was such a fun and exciting to read and I'm happy to find out that the third book will be out soon. I am so invested in these characters I'm obsessed.
